Doing a kind job is not as easy as it sounds

This year rather than buying gifts for myself, pampering myself… I did a kind job… I sponsored a girl child’s school admission and fees.

Believe me… its a first-hand experience speaking… paying for your child and almost the same amount for some child… one really needs a large heart…
But I am trying… looking beyond us and our comfortable lives… we don’t want to look at the conditions of the underprivileged ones… as they say… ignorance is bliss…
The moment we figure out that whatever we think is ours… is not ours… we need to share… we need to give back…
By sponsoring one child… I cannot sit back n think… oh I have done a great job… I have not… the discrimination is much more to be filled up by one child’s education…

I am not a saint or a Sufi… I am a normal human with my set of weaknesses and worldly desires… I live a luxurious life… I don’t plan to live in an ashram…
But the least I can do is to give some of what I mistakingly think is mine… nothing is mine… it’s a common resource from which we all are taking… till the time we are alive… I have a long way to go… I have to look up to the people who are living life beyond worldly pleasures…

I am meeting such amazing people in the journey… who are telling me stories… who are the models made out of perseverance and purpose… I am doing my small bits only because of these people holding my hand n guiding me in my journey…like angels…

Sipra Narula is one of them..this time she is the guardian angel…may God bless her..help her in pursuing her purpose..finding more like us to add to her small army..may I find my purpose too…
May I hold more hands…n the caravan goes on…

Love you life!
